I know that I've been fairly quiet for the last week or two - there are two reasons for that. The first is that I am happily living in the land of procrastination, that magical place of I'll-do-it-later-I-promise. Subsequently, there hasn't been a whole lot of writing getting done. On the upside, I have finished reading another book and will be posting my review shortly.
The second reason is that I've been contemplating a fairly big change in my life.
I've never been terribly good at change. It is much easier to live comfortably in the rut I have dug for myself over the last few years. And while I know that I will eventually build a new rut, for a little while life will probably be uncomfortable and complicated. *wrinkled nose* I don't like to be uncomfortable.
But (big breath) I've decided to bite the bullet, and this week I have been job hunting. My plan is to fling as many doors open as I can and see which ones God opens and which he closes.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6
